Spring Pottery Ride. A fine, scenic, Howard County jaunt to revive an early 90's custom. Our rest stop at the Greenbridge Pottery will feature fine, live music, great food and interesting pottery and art exhibits. We'll stock it with gatorade and powerbars and there will be standard festival foods. Regular store is 2 miles further. Subtract 10 from temperature to get distance but will have cue sheets for all distance options.

Spring Tune-up. We
will celebrate Vernal Equinox a bit late by meandering through Odenton on
WB&A Trail for 3 miles, then on some back roads with rollers and a few hills
in this corner of AA Country. We loop through Crownsville with brief stop
at WAWA. There is one long climb in the last 5 miles. Dogwoods may
still be in bloom. Listen for spring peepers in the wetlands. There
is no restroom at start, but plan for lunch after ride at Rick's Grill.

Beach to Creek. A nice in-town ride with an emphasis on natural scenery. We’ll ride up Beach Drive, through some nice neighborhoods with some long hills, and down Sligo Creek Parkway. This ride invites ALL pace levels, in the hope that everyone will find someone to ride with. The ride leader’s pace is C or CC; cue sheets, maps, and a cadre of regulars will help those who are faster or slower. There will be no sweep. We’ll stop at the Takoma Park Co-Op for a quick bite.
[In Rock Creek Park at the corner of Park Road/Tilden & Rock Creek Parkway; meet at the north parking
lot.]

Reverse Loop to Galesville.
Dust off your bike, get some air in those tires and come join us for a great ride. I did this route last year and really liked it so I thought I'd introduce it to others. No go if it's raining, under 45 degrees or heaven forbid snowing.

Short Sheetz. This is a joint ride with the Bs. I expect
that most CC riders will take the shorter route for this early season outing. Please let me know if you would like
to make this a “regular” event. Rest stops are at mile 27 & 53, with an option to cut ride short after first rest
stop (Short Sheeted) if temp is unseasonably cool.

Join me in my first ride as a ride leader this year. This is one of the scenic Laytonsville Loops and goes to Howard County. There are no official rest stops on this ride however, so bring plenty of water. If you want to add another few miles, I can direct riders to a "rest stop" area with refreshments. I will not ride in the rain. Please call me if the weather is doubtful.

Glenwood Gambol. A fine, scenic, Howard County jaunt that won't be too hilly but, after all, it is Howard county. Distance depends on weather.
