Beach to Creek. A nice in-town ride with an emphasis on natural scenery. We’ll ride up Beach Drive, through some nice neighborhoods with some long hills, and down Sligo Creek Parkway. This ride invites ALL pace levels, in the hope that everyone will find someone to ride with. The ride leader’s pace is C or CC; cue sheets, maps, and a growing cadre of regulars will help those who are faster or slower. There will be no sweep. Tour Du Indian Head.  Very pleasant ride just 15 mi. outside DC Beltway! We tour thru some woods (Piscataway Park & Chapman’s Landing) with a few hills (extra on 36miler) on our way thru sleepy Indian Head.  Favorites include Bumpy Oak Rd and Mattawoman Creek (with option to historic Marshall Hall). [Directions: From Beltway(I-95) take exit 3-A/Rt.210 (Indian Head Hwy) south for 15 miles. Turn right onto Md 227 (Marshall Hall Rd.) and left into shopping center.
