I am a Ph.D candidate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Maryland, College Park. I am supervised by Prof. Michelle Mazurek.
My research focuses on human factors in security and privacy, which combines seucrity, privacy and human-computer interaction. I am interested in understanding users’ security or privacy perceptions and behaviors, and designing or improving systems to be secure as well as usable.
I received my M.S. degree in ECE at UMD in May 2015. Before attending UMD, I obtained my B.S. degree in ECE at Beihang University (BUAA), Beijing, China in June 2012. My undergraduate research focused on iterative detection and decoding in MIMO systems.
