Project Management 101
Saturday, February 22, 2003
2460 A. V. Williams Bldg.
University of Maryland, College Park Campus
Instructor: Douglas H. Holly

Projects are notoriously messy endeavors that often overrun cost and schedule and under deliver on customer expectations. But it does not have to be that way. Projects should be richly rewarding for the participants and the customer. Using knowledge of the underlying process of project management and some simple tools, you can change the project's outcome significantly. It requires some planning, self-discipline and leadership, but the tools and techniques are easily learned and implemented. This seminar provides a basic understanding of the process and techniques fundamental to running a successful project.

Materials and refreshments will be provided free of charge. For more information contact Prof. Pamela Abshire.
